It's Time For A New Day In Delaware...

I believe my background uniquely qualifies me to understand the problems of state government, to identify the questions that must be addressed and to fairly decide those questions as the representative of all the citizens of Delaware. I'm a judge, not a politician. I spent my public career doing the right thing, without regard to wealth, power or station. Impartial justice and fairness are as essential in the governor's office as they are in the courtroom.

We've had enough politics as usual. This is not a game. It's our quality of life that is at stake. It's the lives of our children and grandchildren. We deserve quality governmental services; we're already taxed enough to have them.

We already have the resources for better schools, water, air, jobs, and healthcare, and we deserve a governor who will be truthful and candid in addressing these concerns...someone who will actually try to do what they promised, without being beholden to special interest groups.

Delaware can be the best place in the world to live, to work, to raise our children and grandchildren. Our state has the resources and the talent to achieve great things if we have the vision, the will, the perseverance and the leadership to pursue excellence. We already spend enough to achieve excellence, but we have come to accept mediocrity.

It's time to change; not just our governor (although that's a great place to start!), but also our willingness to accept anything less than excellence. Mediocrity is not good enough. In fact, "good" is not good enough.

Delaware deserves better, and you deserve better!

It's time for change, let's get to work and make it happen.
